Christie McEvoy-Derrico graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1996. She established her own law practice in 1997. Presently she is admitted to the Bar in New York and New Jersey and to the Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts. Her primary focus has been inside the courtroom and she has covered almost every facet of litigation. Other areas of practice in which she is involved include real estate transactions and trusts and estates, including probate and Wills. She served as a Trustee on the Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees from 2002-2004 where she
worked intensively on clean water issues, a project she is continuing; she also secured a major environmental grant for the Village. Other local activities include serving on several local boards including Harbor/Coastal Zone Management Commission.
