Christie McEvoy-Derrico graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1996. She established her own law practice in 1997. Presently she is admitted to the Bar in New York and New Jersey and to the Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts. Her primary focus has been inside the courtroom and she has covered almost every facet of litigation. Other areas of practice in which she is involved include real estate transactions and trusts and estates, including probate and Wills. She served as a Trustee on the Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees from 2002-2004 where she worked intensively on clean water issues, a project she is continuing; she also secured a major environmental grant for the Village. Other local activities include serving on several local boards including Harbor/Coastal Zone Management Commission.

Martha Sokol McCarty, Esq.
graduated from Cornell University in 1977 and Albany Law School in 1980. She was admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District in 1981. Ms. McCarty has been concentrating her practice in real estate matters, including closings, zoning and planning matters, both residential and commercial, for over 20 years. Ms. McCarty represents both sellers and purchasers of single and multiple family homes, cooperative units, condominiums, small apartments and businesses.

Ms. McCarty was a Trustee in the Village of Mamaroneck (1994- 2000) and served on the Mamaroneck Village Zoning Board of Appeals (1984-1993), including several years as Deputy Chair. She also served as liaison to the Mamaroneck Village Planning Commission and was a member of the Harbor/Coastal Zone Management Commission through 2007. Ms. McCarty was Co-Chair of the Real Property Section of the Westchester County Bar Association 2007-2008, and is currently a Co- Treasurer of the Mamaroneck-Larchmont- Harrison Bar Association. She is also a member of the New Rochelle Bar Association. Ms. McCarty lectured on new developments in residential real estate to fellow lawyers in May of 2008. Ms. McCarty presently serves as a member of the Executive Committee for the Real Estate Section of the Westchester County Bar Association.
